Reading your bible is a good thing, sure, it tells the truth of what is coming and what is coming can be depressing for those not ready, but for those that are ready, it is exciting. Even those that are non-bible readers and non-church goers are wondering what is going on in the world, it is all in the bible. I better shut up or I'll get us in trouble again. "but for those that are ready, it is exciting..." Right! But, what am I supposed to do with all that excitement if the majority of the world thinks I'm NUTZ, and blames people like me for hindering "social progress"? From my perspective, 90% of the planet has rejected common sense! Everett, you will not get into trouble for quoting The Bible and acting in a kind way towards others. Only when you say that people will go to hell if they do not believe exactly what you believe do you get any flack.
Using threats tends to turn people away. Biblical prophecy is always 100% correct. The Bible isn't a threat... it's a promise.

"Do not endeavor to be the smartest kid in a dumb class. Instead, you are better off being the dumbest kid in the smartest class, where you will be challenged and you will learn. If you aren't growing, you are dying." -Brian Austin Whitney
