DON'T DELETE THREADS!
Move them to the "Rant Arena" at the bottom of the site once they lose steam.
That may not seem fair to the author of the thread, but the author can always start a new one.

1- It will become obvious that only A$$HOLES live in the Rant Arena.
2- The rest will learn not to argue with the A$$HOLES!
3- Threads obviously started just for the sake of argument will mostly be ignored, or started in the Rant Arena to begin with.

Most importantly, Moderators should NOT assume authority to decide what is or isn't appropriate! They should only watch, wait, and react AFTER THE FACT, and leave notice under the author's "ORIGINAL HEADER" that the thread has been moved.

Lastly, Rant Arena threads should not be excluded from the "What's Going On" list.

If you would do this, I wouldn't mind one bit if you moved my "Prophecy" thread... I'd wear it like a badge of honor.
Also, if possible, I would appreciate my old threads that have been deleted to be brought back in the Rant Arena as well.

However... Fair Warning, I will NOT be polite to A$$HOLES in the Arena!
