This started life as Kay-Lynn's starfish story with a great moral. In our exchange I told her I had written one with a moral as well which I the posted
Elvis did a great SUNO take as a folk song as it was intended, but then it was re wrtitten led by Rob.
He then did a SUNO version which we really liked and he then made available to me
Some of you may know I am mostly retired so I get to spend time on music and of all things my art which had actually sold in galleries and charity auctions and privately
Art I create electronically and print to acrylic or metal and receive framed.
The gallery business is interesting. I pay for what hangs on their walls, and when they sell, I get 60% I still make money at the price they sell at...roughly double my production cost... I maintain image ownership
For this video I first had to map this song out and it has a very interesting structure
10 second intro, 30 second verse and clim, chorus hits at EXACTLY 40 seconds. New verse EXACTLY at 60 secondsv 30 second verse and climb and another chorus at EXACTLY 90 seconds Bridge at 110 seconds and another chorus go around at 140 seconds........20 seconds.... the song starts to go out at 160 seconds...2 minutes 40 seconds..ends at 3.24, so 44 seconds
That gave me a number of slides with "average viewing time" and I delved into my 4 "electronic image archives" ....one is actually an active showcase portfolio...to find images I could weave into a video for the music. The fun here was picking the images to tell the story and animating them into the video. Lots more I can do with this I think. The key is that important slides have to be there at the right time. Rob's 10, 40, 60, 90, 110, 140, 160 precision song presentation made that possible
Great collaboration Rob and Kay-lynn....thank you for letting me play
If writing ever becomes work I think I'm going to have to stop
Great Job John!!!...............A nice little gritty song you could play in the background of any movie about the dirty side of town, but the people who live there respect and love each other, another part of town may be cleaner but they're all stabbing each other in the back (figuratively)
I really like the musics sync. I want to see if I can duplicate it and sing it in some facsimile.
Bill, let me know if you need the playback without vocals.
Hey Rob. That would be so good. Where will I find it. If you put it in suno, I can transfer it with rca connectors through my old school stereo amp into my zoom r8 recorder. Bill
