Washington Post What country stars really think about that AI-generated country 'hit' Emily Yahr Updated Sun, December 28, 2025 at 5:00 AM EST 9 min read
There will always be another song to be written. Someone will write it. Why not you? www.garyeandrews.com
Bottom line they don't like it. They hated streaming services also , its adjust or fail. They don't like competing against robot singers . To late for that

We’re all built from the same dust and dreams, Different roads, but the same means.
as explained, digital music sales, is a bogus category. Nobody buys music
to the question can people tell the difference? average joe probably not, people into the musicality of music, like great guitar and drumming, probably could tell. But what do they mean by "tell"
can they say...wait thats AI, no.
but is it something they are going to be very interested in? something to shell out their money for, waiting to get tickets for? No, its just not good enough. I havenet heard ANY AI song, partial or full that was anywhere near Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The WHo, The Police, Rush, no singer songwriters close to Springsteen or Tom Petty or composers like gershwin or even Billy Joel
Remember when Marty used to argue that nobody could tell the difference between Band In a Box or real musicians? Yeah we all remember that infamously embarrassing quote by a schmuck.
If they cant tell exactly whats going on, they can certainly feel like, hey, i like this alot more than this, and i may not know why.
The why would be its better, real music, real energy and vibrance.
Ai is not going away, but its not replacing greatness
