You and Kristi have a beautiful and very sensuous song here....and I'm certain LOTS of couples are grateful for the additional length! lol !!

I always look forward to work from you two. You personify "top notch".

My best to you,

Hi Gail,

I actually do my vocals the way Stanley Kubrick edits film, a line at a time, and I do about ten to twenty takes for each line...What is interesting is...Afterwards...I can then sing the song "straight through" much better than when I was recording it, and it's because I've listened to the final vocals so many times that they're ingrained in my memory, and all I am doing is "reproducing, from memory" the recording of them that's in my head! And, you know what? It works.

I recommend this method of singing for everybody: composite your perfect vocal from various "takes", then store that "perfect take" into memory . Then when you sing it, just rely on your memory of that perfect take.

Thanks again, Gail. smile

Mike
