The slow process in counting votes in the states this guy has in his sights is because they were prevented from even preparing to count before the day of the election. There is absolutely nothing strange about their speed in comparison to other states that he mentions. They don't have a "strange problem:" they have an entirely predictable problem. In the case of Pennsylvania it was by design, precisely so that the President could make these specious arguments if he lost. That is not an opinion. It's easily verifiable or, if you were paying attention in the days leading up to the election, you don't even need to verify it again. By the way, California took a long time to count its votes too. It's just that nobody cared. That's why you see Biden's lead in the popular vote gradually increasing. As I write this, Pennsylvania has actually counted a larger percentage of its votes than Ohio, Alaska, DC, California, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Vermont and Washington. It has counted the same percentage as Texas, Connecticut, Iowa, Kentucky and North Carolina. Why doesn't this guy mention that. So the number of people voting went up? Is this really surprising given the passions aroused in the choice facing the country? I'm not at all surprised by the large increase in voter turnout in Georgia. Passions there were inflamed by what many saw as rigged elections in 2018 that deprived Stacey Abrams of the Governorship. This was particularly true of black voters, whose participation surged. This guy makes his argument sound convincing by his selection of "control" states. I checked my home state of North Carolina. The turnout increased from 69% of registered voters in the 2016 election to 75.6% in the 2020 election. In Pennsylvania the turnout increased from 70.1% to approximately 74%. This is actually lower than in NC, which the Republicans are on course to win. Of course, folks like this guy will argue that an increase in voter registration, which in PA went from 8.7 to about 9 million is all dead guys and Mexicans, but even using the old 2016 voter registration figures, the increase would be to 76.7%, not out of line with NC. I suppose I could do this with other states too, but debunking this BS is exhausting and seemingly never-ending. I offer this as a public service - you're welcome In summary: 1. Turnout went up. Not surprising when you consider the passions on both sides. 2. It went up very substantially in many states. 3. If you select your "controls" carefully, you can "prove" just about anything. 4. Delays in vote counting are entirely explainable. 5. Where mail-in ballots were counted last, the Republicans had a large lead before they were counted, as predicted before the election. 6. Where mail-in ballots were counted first, early results skewed misleadingly toward Democrats, e.g. Ohio. Again, this was predicted before the election. 7. Don't believe everything you see in a video. 8. Read this book. It's as entertaining as it is informative. https://www.amazon.com/How-Lie-Statistics-Darrell-Huff/dp/0393310728#ace-7448806443
