wouldn't it be nice to get paid once in a while? Yes. But people have to love your music before they'll give you money - that holds true for the "old" music industry as well as the new. The only difference is that the old guys used to be able to buy the love using advertising dollars. As we have discussed via chat, we can't really rely on people who will download our stuff to give us money even if they think the material is good. There is only a very small percentage of people who can appreciate good music and see the effort made behind it to shell out a few bucks. That's why most of them would rather wait for a torrent to come out rather than buy an "official" copy (as opposed to original copy).
