Personally, I can't stand the term "file sharing." Granted, in literal terms, it's a file. But at the same time, it's a work of art. All music is. I don't care how good or bad it is, it is a work of art created by a human being. To think that art has been relegated to the realm of being a mere "file" really bothers me. A file that gets haphazardly passed around amongst people. Is that what technology has done??? Is that what happens to art once it's put on the internet? Man, I hope not.

I'm not gonna comment on the whole piracy thing. But it does bother me that the lingo surrounding music is becoming more machine-like and less human-like.
