Jeez Dave,
The song is old school, but it sounds like a hit to me.
You put the listener in the song and you made it about the listener...and the listener and singer are interchangeable with any two people that might want to assign it to their relationship.
Plus it's pretty. The nuance and character in the SUNO vocal is beautiful to listen to and intimidating at the same time.
The impact of all that reminds me of "Your Song" by Elton John.
