https://suno.com/song/2defae79-8efd-458e-b2a2-160bd071f165Words by Elvis and Shade (Verse 1) Neon’s hummin’ like a busted halo, Smoke curls slow through the hole in the roof. Ain’t no angels drinkin’ here tonight, Just ghosts with a reason to stay the truth. I dropped my last dime in the rusted slot, It groaned like it knew what comes next— That old jukebox flickered once, then whispered, “Son, I got one song left.” (Chorus) I’m a jukebox with one song left, Play it loud, play it mean, play it ’til there’s nothin’ left. Ain’t no rewind in a life like mine, Just a needle ridin’ grooves of regret. Yeah, I’m a jukebox with one song left. (Post-Chorus) Spin that record ‘til the whiskey’s gone, Let the ghosts two-step ‘til dawn. If I fade out, baby, don’t forget— I was a jukebox with one song left. (Verse 2) She left her lipstick on the rim of a glass, And a promise I ain’t quite kept. Every mile since feels like the same sad verse In a tune that won’t forget. Now every bar I walk into knows The sound of a man bereft— I feed that machine like I feed my sins, Both got one song left. (Chorus) I’m a jukebox with one song left, Play it rough, play it real, don’t you dare forget. Spin it slow for the lost and the low, For the hearts that can’t reset. Yeah, I’m a jukebox with one song left. (Post-Chorus) Turn the lights down, let it all burn red, Let the last note cover what I should’ve said. When silence comes, I’ll pay my debt— Still a jukebox with one song left. (Bridge) So if you hear my record crack and fade, Don’t cry, just raise your glass instead. ‘Cause every outlaw’s tune runs out someday, But hell, at least I played it ’til the end. (Final Chorus) I’m a jukebox with one song left, Let it howl through the smoke and sweat. When the lights go out and the crowd’s all gone, I’ll still hum that last duet. Yeah, I’m a jukebox… With one song left. (Final Post-Chorus / Outro) Drop one more coin, let the truth confess, Every man ends up singin’ to his own mess. Fade me out slow, don’t you forget—

Wow. You are hitting them these days. Nice idea and write. I listened to some of the music…good of course, but too clean, too smooth.
You should sing it. Just you and guitar.

There's a lot to choose from. Mason Douglass in Nashville has "Forty Pounds Of Ghost "Nicky V in Nashville has, "The Devil Was A outlaw Jesus Was A Saint "
Suno And AI has giving me a chance to write a lot of songs and pick and choose what I want to record .

So I'm kinda pro AI now , but still record with session players and record in studios . When I can afford it.

 thanks Bill

Excellent! Love the title and lyrics. You and Suno have done it right. Mason Douglas did a song for a co-writer and I 3-4 years ago. This is going on my playlist. | | |
