Parts of that lyric I really like, Rob.
But, I can't help thinking it should really be about the centuries of rebellion against antiquated notions of morality... and how evil seems to be winning in this age. To me, the old stories are all cautionary tales; Echos of a past Spirit of wisdom that's mostly been disregarded.
Tell me, why does mankind need to race to the moon... and beyond?
Don't we have enough trouble right here?
Don't we have more to learn before we pollute the cosmos?
Aren't there many on Earth who could truly benefit from such wasted expenditures?
Just thinking out loud...
