The takeaway from your assertion is that Moe is the suffering, unsung hero and you have, momentarily, transformed yourself from his detractor to his champion.

Here is another viewpoint...
People like Moe (and you) need to be shut down in social situations.
You both spray mindless insults and toxicity.

Not only does that serve the greater good and harmony, but it serves you and Moe.
It prevents you from running amok and spinning your foul moods up into something, that ultimately is much more destructive to you and Moe, than anyone else.

And why are you...all of a sudden, Moe's advocate?
Because of your alignment with him. Notwithstanding your many attacks on him, you ultimately identify with the similarities.
