Marty. Next time ask me before you open that ding batted trap
Christianity is defined as a faith based on a personal relationship with God, not a political federation or a nation-state. Its purpose is to transcend borders and cultures, focusing on spiritual transformation rather than secular power. Jesus, in the New Testament, stated his kingdom is not of this world, intentionally focusing on making disciples rather than establishing a political, worldly authority. Focus on the Family Focus on the Family +3 Key reasons why Christianity is not a political federation: Kingdom vs. Government: Jesus' message was one of grace, focused on a spiritual kingdom rather than political movements, national identity, or enforcing laws. Transcends Borders: Christianity is designed to transcend national boundaries and cultures, not to be a nationalist political organization. Separation of Kingdom and State: The "weapons" of the church are meant to be spiritual (faith, love, sacrifice) rather than political power or the physical force often used by governments. Focus on Individual Faith: It is not a formal union or federation of nations, but a faith practiced by individuals and communities, focused on personal relationships with God. No Political Mandate: Jesus never commanded his followers to create a political state or a Christian nation; rather, he called for followers to follow a life of faith, sacrifice, and humility. Focus on the Family Focus on the Family +3 In essence, Christianity is generally considered to be about a personal or community-level faith rather than a top-down political structure or national alliance.
