There was an Iran nuclear deal in place—negotiated by the U.S. along with EU countries and others—which allowed monitoring of Iran’s nuclear program. Trump tore that up and promised a better deal. That deal never happened, and tensions have only increased since then.
What doesn’t add up is the constant shift in messaging. One moment we’re told Iran’s capabilities are crippled, the next they’re an immediate, major threat again. Which is it?
And the idea that this situation will resolve quickly just isn’t realistic. Conflicts like this don’t just end—they escalate, draw in more players, and become more expensive by the day.

At the same time, we’re told to trust that everything is under control while costs keep rising and priorities at home take a back seat. That’s hard to ignore. Gas prices will continue to rise because so many pumps in the Middle East were shut down. It takes months to get them up and running again. I just wish Trump would stick to America first, no wars and release the Epstein Files.
