It never ends with this one... May have to resort to Electro Shock Therapy. You return over and over, to a chimerical scenario where you get to discuss anything that you want and all the children remain perfectly behaved, and the atmosphere is productive and wonderful. Well, since we're in a "chimerical" frame of mind... These words of wisdom ring true, considering your Mother was a Catholic School Teacher, and you played "dress-up" with your older sister till you were seventeen. I keep repeating over and over, that 99% of the people in the world know that if they are involved in an endeavor with a specified goal such as songwriting, and the conversations are allowed to wander unfettered into politics, religion or whatever may piss some nut-ball off...then the endeavor is going to become governed by the lowest common denominator...and acrimony is inevitable. "I keep repeating over and over..." Acrimony bologna, Mr Lied is a phony. In this case, "the lowest common denominator" is the least productive member of a songwriting forum... who incessantly rants about politics/religion with the admitted intention of pissing people off, "Just For Fun." I believe that 99% of the Earth's population will ultimately agree that he's an A$$H0LE! In this specific case, a guy who lists Germany as his home in his avatar. comes onto an Indiana based songwriting site with railings against the current United States president, and expects everyone to respond cordially. That is always going to degenerate to the lowest common denominator. To beleive anything else is fantasy. I have faith that our American Fuehrer will consolidate and relocate these Nazi malcontents and re-educate them... Heil Trump For future brevity, I will refer to this response as "the chimerical takeaway."

All we will have left is being tracked 24/7 in everything we do, or bartering which they will mostly make illegal and underground, where they will set traps for people they don't like. 1984 was not a warning, it was their actual playbook. But they have already implemented all of it and surpassed it. A.I. datacenters are likely really cover stories for digital currency monitoring. A.I. is not intelligent. They used all of our own data (including every word you have ever typed directly via Apple, Windows, Linus and Android from day 1) as well as every piece of art and technique in Photoshop and other art programs, any DAW ever used, and the entire collection of any song ever made available plus every book ever written via the library of congress, etc. and these A.I. programs just spit it back out to us. If is useful but it does not "create" ANYTHING new. It can't. So original humans will always have an advantage, using these tools as short cuts, but it is a lie to suggest, beyond pattern recognition, they A.I. will "discover" anything not already known. It is simply that no human could ever consume that much data. But ironically, they are out of DATA. This is why they are letting us all use this new tech in the first place. It costs them sometimes many dollars to make a 5 second video or a song. But they NEED us to keep feeding them ANY data!

When you read a book and listen to music, then you write something or make a song, you are using the influence of all the stuff you have ingested and you spit it out. But as a human, with a soul, you can ALSO add your own spin. Big DATA A.I. only learns patterns of "what usually comes next" to predict the most likely next "thing." But it can't go off in a completely NEW direction, as it isn't intelligent. Only via an actual mistake, can it do something truly new. That does not make it useless for creation. It can do many tasks that limited time/resource humans can't do alone. It does heavy lifting for you. I have updated 750 of my own finished songs from the 80s and 90s and now they have modern production while still following my melody, my lyrics, the intonations and emphasis of MY voice as well as any production I already added via the demo, plus additional NEW instructions I give it to add or subtract or adjust an endless number of things to customize it just how I want. It will then act as my production team and help me get to the finished, commercially viable product. If my lyrics and melodies appeal to others, I might gain fans and make money, if not, then no one will care. But that makes A.I. a great tool for all music creators. It is not infringing on any known songs (in fact it blocks anything copyright protect in it's database which likely includes every song online, and makes sure you are not infringing on any known recording. That is a value people often miss. It isn't perfect, but it is far less likely than a human, to infringe on a copyright. This tech is really a logical extension of ALL the other music tools such as synths, samplers, plugins, effects processors, mixing boards and processors, mastering software used by every studio, EQ and reverb and all the rest. Instead of buying those products, this product already has it all. If you were okay with any of those other advanced tech, then it would be hypocritical to be against this. I can infringe on copyrighted material without any tools. This tool tries hard to avoid it. It will not write a human level song, it isn't intelligent or human. It is just a tool. No one is forced to use it but most people making music are using tools not available 20 years ago. Should it all be banned too? Look at what you've written...
