IMO, the song is an attitude. 90% of it is delivered with;
"You couldn't give a damn, you know what I'm tawkin 'bout. So let the dog in the house and put yo' stanky ass out."
IMO..the rest of it could be written a thousand ways, but the point is coming across, and I have tried to state it in "trailer park" jargon.
Nonetheless, I appreciate your re-write and in the very unlikely event that there is any future reason to come back to the song, I will re-read your re-write and go from there.
Note: I do plan to put the stems in my DAW and EQ it and adjust levels for streaming. When I do that I am going to look at the BPM and maybe shave a couple off. That might make it seem a little less rushed to you.
