Thanks Dave. I'll switch out the SC link for the SUNO link in a few minutes, if that doesn't require an account for listens. BTW, someone who writes songs as well and as avidly as you should get themselves a SC account. As far as rushed, I don't disagree. Otoh, a hurried pace was appealing (to me) I also viscerally liked the overlay of the vocal lines on the fast-rolling electric guitar riff. I went through many of iterations of the song. The prosody seems be tied to the BPM. The iterations with higher bpms had bumpy prosodys. On all of them, there was a hit and miss quality to the prosody. (isochrony) Some versions would have about the same BPMs as others, yet in one iteration, in a particular spot, the prosody would be fine, in another version, the alignment in the same spot would be clumsy. I think that the version that you did not hear is better than the one that you did with regard to that. Neither one is perfect.
