Everett I disagree. We are not born bad, selfish or greedy it is all learned behavior. Children copy what they see and learn by example whether it is from peers, adults or parents. These behavior problems can be rectified if children at an early age are shown love, tolerance, taught right from wrong, self respect and respect of others. Religion in any shape or form has caused most of the world's problems. Bigotry, racism, greed, ignorance, and indoctrination have been the accepted norm in most if not all religions. Some of the most cruel acts in history and inhumane behaviour have been committed in the name of religion with governments and religious leaders baying for more. If there is a god then he would certainly not associate himself with all that nonesense. Atheists tend to be more tolerant and have deeper moral convictions than so called religious folk.
