In the Declaration of Independance, it said "all men are created equal," not "all men ARE equal." All men (and women) are NOT equal. Some are tall, some are short, some have particularly handsome feet. What I think that meant was that we're all human, all started out as babies, all eat and burp and fart, so we shouldn't treat other people like they're not humans or like we're "special" humans just because we have pretty feet.
