Both versions were well written and beautifully produced.
The scaled down version was obviously more up close and personal as the vocals you could reach out and touch them.
I’m a huge fan of full-blown productions and the production number was no exception, tastefully annotated with subtle but powerful musical effects, which enhanced the overall sound. The vocals, which were very good as well, but seemed somewhat “pushed” slightly back in the mix as compared with the scaled down version. It would be interesting to see if a scaled down version of the production number would have a similar effect as the other.
If the piano version didn’t exist we would obviously not be having this conversation!
The merit of both is substantial in it’s own light.
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to both - thank you Ande.

"Defeatist Pessimists and Rose Colored Glasses Optimists are lonely companions, victims even. Both ideologies imply predestined outcomes, and therefore breed inactivity in its victims. Inaction is the only sure way to lose at anything in life. All positive action guarantees at least a fighting chance." -Brian Austin Whitney
