The ONLY difference is YOU prefer to talk about audio, because you have NO INTEREST, in songwriting craft.

And that assertion is based on what? I am currently 3 months into one song, trying like hell to make it sound as good as I can. I'm not shoving it in front of anyone as it progresses but I'm as deep into it as I can get. Everything that I learn about audio tech is for the purpose of feeding the song. By virtue of being a "songwriter" you must have an audience, and the audience always has the last word. Perhaps our problem "here" is that we're all songwriters...
