Hi Ray

Yes scary Sci Fi transcends right to horror very well especially monster & alien flicks. Like "The Thing"

Hitchcock's Psycho is top rate all the way for any genre. Most of his stuff is really a physiological thriller based in a scare situation. Even the "Birds" is very light weight as a horror movie. There is so much dialogue and story and non creepiness.

Most earlier movies have that, even though classics and great movies, but since the 70's the newer approach has left a lasting effect on previous horror flicks and even later some now who depend on effects and constant remakes and recycled ideas and stories...

I loved all versions of "War Of The Worlds" that kind of unreality reality is always SCARY!! smile

Thanks!
Peace Mike
