Here’s a song I wrote in the ’70s. It was one of my first songs ever. I recorded it in the ’80s. I programmed many of the guitar parts, and those backing vocals you hear used to be one of my trademarks. I actually released this track on one of my albums about 20 years ago. https://soundclick.com/song/9571504I noticed that Suno just released V6, so I thought I’d try covering this one with Suno. I listened to the Suno version... I'm not so crazy about the lyrics but man it sounds great. Hey Tex, Yes, I agree. I was a teenager when I wrote this. It was one of my first songs. You can clearly see that I didn't use AI to write the lyrics, lol. 😄 These old songs show where I came from as a songwriter. I've learned a lot about songwriting over the years. All the best - Robert

Its a pretty melody, and a great hook, its just dull in the story. Its a nice track.
The other thing i noticed is the vocal even original seems to be ai, sounds alot like the second version in suno..

Songwriting is something I learned over time, and this was one of the first songs I ever wrote. 😊 The vocal on the original is actually my real voice, recorded back in the ’80s with a really cheap microphone. I was using Cakewalk back then, and it had some pretty cool vocal filters that I used to create those backing vocals too. They were kind of a trademark of mine at the time. The reason the AI version sounds so similar is that I used a Persona based on my real voice. Sometimes it comes surprisingly close to the original — just with a much better-sounding voice. 😂
