I wrote this to encourage the American people after the attack of 9/11 the churches in the US used this song for several years. You can hear it here https://soundclick.com/song/3785564THE LIGHT THAT MAKES US FREE by Everett Adams Verse 1 America great USA The hands of evil tried to steal away All that you stand for Freedom and liberty But they can’t extinguish the light that makes us free CHORUS The light that makes us free shines from above Comes from our deity bringing forth purest love Shining from paradise with purest purity The one that paid the price Jesus Christ Brings the light that makes us free Verse 2 America Land of the free None other like her Nor ever will be Evil may fight her do it’s best to destroy But it can not conquer the light that gives us joy REPEAT CHORUS BRIDGE God bless America God guard her land God protect her people from the evil hand REPEAT CHORUS Tag The one that paid the price Jesus Christ is the light that keeps us free Yes Jesus Christ is the light of this world (c) Everett Adams (Newsflash Sounds) 2001

And finally, somebody asked for my thoughts on 9/11. That wasn’t religion, race, or ordinary people sitting around hating each other. It was terrorism wrapped up in politics, history, grievance, and fanaticism. Innocent people paid the price for something they had absolutely nothing to do with. Which unfortunately may be the oldest human tradition of all: Leaders start the bullshit. Regular people get the bill. Of course, America occasionally suffers from historical memory loss. We wiped out Native people, took their land, said a prayer, and somehow still ended up casting ourselves as the good guys in every movie. Apparently history is easier to live with when you write your own screenplay. Then came 9/11, Afghanistan, Iraq, George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. Mr. Rogers and Captain Kangaroo they were not. “Do they have weapons of mass destruction?” “We think so.” “You sure?” “Nope.” “Good enough. Start the engines.” Bombs away, baby. Then we pray for the innocent people who died. Maybe—and I’m just throwing out a radical theological experiment here—we could occasionally pray before we kill innocent people. Meanwhile, Americans were losing their homes during the mortgage crisis while Wall Street was discovering the miracle of government salvation. Apparently socialism is terrible unless a bank needs it. Satan reportedly tried opening a checking account at one of the banks we bailed out. They turned him down. “Sir, your business practices don't meet our ethical standards.” Even Satan said, “You gotta be shitting me.” Wells Fargo immediately announced seventeen additional stagecoaches and seven hundred new mules. Their new slogan: “You can trust us this time.” No comment from the horses. And religion wasn't escaping tonight's investigation either. The Catholic Church announced another committee to investigate the Catholic Church. San Quentin reportedly responded: “Maybe get an outside opinion.” The Mormons caught me in Walmart last week. I asked, “You guys miss the old days?” One looked around to make sure his wife wasn't listening. “Which wife?” Fair point. And that concludes tonight's Blue-Eyed Malibu Jesus, War, Money & Murder News Report. Historians now believe Jesus probably looked considerably more Middle Eastern than the fellow hanging in half the paintings in America. Marvin Gaye may actually have been closer. We asked Jesus for comment. He looked at two thousand years of human history and said: “You people didn't understand a damn thing I said, did you?” Stick around for our special report from the year 4000: Are humans still killing each other over land, money, religion and power? Early reports say yes. But don't worry. We'll say a prayer afterward. Praise the Lord. Roll credits. And somebody fire up the Suno marching band. We do have some good news and bad news . The economy is doing great . The bad news it's the 666 guy . The whole world said, damn just our luck . I love the evil chihuahua https://www.instagram.com/reel/DcEAYppOlqh/?stkn=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==So you guys wont listen to this . But comment on Suno songs . That MP3 section hasn't heard a human since the dinosaurs roamed the earth .
