Marty, if you are not pissed on some scale of being upset....why continue your diatribe against Rob? John, what you're doing is a waste of time. Marty said clearly how he thinks. He wrote that the comments other songwriters made about a song he didn't even hear "are likely coming from the like minded, not the truly informed or objective". He's basically saying, anybody who doesn't agree with what he thinks is not informed or not objective. We all have the right to form and share our own opinions. Sometimes it seems that not everyone is equally comfortable with that. This isn’t uncommon - similar attitudes can be found in many areas, including US politics.
