I believe the reason Trump got so much traction so quickly was because the "pendulum" was stuck too far to the left for too long already. Trump was supposed to be the answer; He was going "drain the swamp" and bring about "real change... But the swamp was deeper than he thought and it swallowed him up. All Trump managed to accomplish was to prove just how corrupt American government truly is.

That kind of institutionalized fraud has to be destroyed, not fixed. But it seems Americans are far too complacent now for any kind of real insurrection. Our electorate is a farce; As evidenced by the argument over identification.
