Kay-Lynn, You are right this is a dedication song. My four kids wanted me to write something they could sing to their mother for her birthday. So it is more personal and a tribute to my wife and her life and accomplishments. Would need some major work to go mainstream. You have the premise spot on that no matter how many titles, degree’s or accomplishments she achieved, they just called her mom. They sang it for her during this crazy Covid-19 period and even though masks were worn many tears could be seen flowing from masks. Thanks for your post and interest. Be safe out there.
