What: Monthly Songwriters Workshop

When: Saturday, September 13, 11 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Where: Tsunami Books, 2585 Willamette, Eugene
Cost: $1 suggested
The Songwriters Workshop will host its next monthly session on Saturday, September 13, 2008. Our topic: Q & A. This is a time to bring your own questions on any songwriting topic, and we will do our best to answer them. Whether it is hooks or bridges, prosody or PROs, titles or TAXI, we will be glad to fill you in with what we know. Discussion will be followed, as usual, by songs and critiques.
Experienced and beginning songwriters are invited to listen to each others songs and share their comments about lyrics, music, structure, and other aspects of the craft and business of songwriting. Songs may be played live or presented on CD. Participants should bring 10 copies of their lyrics for feedback notes.
The workshop will go from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Tsunami Books, 2585 Willamette. Call Rocky Montenegro for details at 345-1956.
