Hi Mike I had fun thinking about this. It seems we think along the same lines  I would put The Exorcist at #1 and The Omen at #2. I would definitely include The Shining and Psycho. I love American Werewolf In London. Let The Right One In is a modern classic (if you have not seen this please do), also Pans Labyrinth. Although it may seem a little tame now Bride Of Frankenstein is a true classic. Im going to throw in another couple of classics: The Man With X-Ray Eyes and The Midwich Cuckoos because I found both quite disturbing  I would definitely dispute Alien as being horror, it is a great film but It's more suspense-thriller.
