If we do pursue this, I was thinking it would be neat and give the book more interest if we could sprinkle some clever, funny, or trivia/fact type quotes/lines maybe next to the recipe to give it alittle more interest. For instance maybe next to a recipe that includes tomatoes one might say: "did you know tomatoes contain lycopene which is a very powerful antioxidant that may help prevent prostate cancer, heart diesease and other serious diseases" or something funny like "caution when preparing this dish do not dip your fingers in the batter because you won't be able to stop", or "my mother gave me this recipe the day I got married", etc. etc. Maybe the person who writes the recipe could offer their own personal quote if they chose to. Or don't stick your finger in your eye after peeling and chopping onions or chilis????

"Defeatist Pessimists and Rose Colored Glasses Optimists are lonely companions, victims even. Both ideologies imply predestined outcomes, and therefore breed inactivity in its victims. Inaction is the only sure way to lose at anything in life. All positive action guarantees at least a fighting chance." -Brian Austin Whitney
