Long time!  The way you "structure" always feels familiar to me... Perfect for Pop Rock. Just some thoughts... 1- Chorus needs something clever, needs to hook... I took a beating …Now I'm black and blue Bruised all over Passion meet closure A broke heart donor And bruised all over... 2- Don't need all the info in your bridge, simple and repetitive is fine... Oh, the day will come Yeah', the day will come Ooooh, the day will come When your spell’s undone Relax, the listener will get it
