[quote=John Lawrence Schick]This thread was from 2019. Prior to the pandemic. Prior to the woke mentality. Still law-abiding citizens - ha, ha. Now it's a corrupted society. Best, John [/quot It's always been a corrupted society. Americas third world with glitter Yes, and people are afraid of everything. This morning, I purchased a large container of fresh cut fruit at the market. They were "buy one get one free". I couldn't use both before they'd be inedible. So, when I was at the check-out, I offered one to the customer behind me. She was very hesitant at first but then accepted. I think most people always think there is some kind of catch when someone's being nice. Maybe thought I might have a tracking device attached - ha, ha. Yes, it's a bit uncomfortable being nice these days. It's the "Age of Distrust". John Worlds fine just don't watch the news , Doctors orders. unless you want to write a political song and have a belly full of bees, Career suicide like the Dixie Chicks lol The funny thing about political pissing matches is that more often than not, both sides are 100% correct about the "problems" but usually neither side is right about the cause or solution or even the blame. But the root problems are generally correct outside of a few falsely manufactured straw men. Those are just cover stories for more corruption most of the time. But genius propagandizers make both sides fear a false flag target for observable problems so they waste time screaming against something that has zero to do with a problem they face. Even worse is when people parrot false narratives that never existed with zero first hand impact on those who scream the loudest. Both sides do it (complain) about things that don't even exist, or as so rare that it has zero real impact on the biggest whiners. The grossest tragedies are happening right now because we (collectively) benefit off the usury of people. Government, Corporations, Politicians are all takers, not givers. 90% of what stirs people up most is entirely fictional propaganda meant to do exactly that. Meanwhile stuff that 100% affects people gets ignored by nearly EVERYONE! If you are not a tax payer, by default you are taking. But most of what is taken is 100% stolen, so who can really blame those who figured it out. The only money spent to keep something going is 100% heaped on our unpayable national debt. Those living right now know they will never have to pay it back, that will be used to further enslave the unborn. The fact we all tolerate that undeniable truth makes us ALL the bad guys. 38 trillion (30 trillion of which in just the past 25 years). Everything else is a distraction. Our kids, grandkids, great grandkids and more will be enslaved forever because of what WE collectively tolerated! I hate politics worse than religion , senseless no one wins... Yup Politicians are all takers, they don't give [naughty word removed] about us

"Do not endeavor to be the smartest kid in a dumb class. Instead, you are better off being the dumbest kid in the smartest class, where you will be challenged and you will learn. If you aren't growing, you are dying." -Brian Austin Whitney
