That's non sense that people are not participating because they read off topic threads.

They may not like topics, although many don't t care if it aligns with their thoughts.

The flame wars have always always existed here, Christianity threads, political threads,opinions on in everything have been posted here.

The forum still thrived. there wasn't 15 minutes going by without something new being posted.

If a dozen writers didn't post, another dozen did, it was an endless supply of members.

Your assumptions are wrong it has always been yap city here.

The issue is there's no writers left.
