I suspect that there are many "members" that look in here.
But they see the off-topic arguing and trolling that goes on day to day.
They see that the handful of active people who remain are old and are not actually in the music.

They don't approach.

Can that really be changed?
I'm not sure if it can be, but I am reasonably certain that allowing the things that brought this site to it's current condition, will end it.

However, I may be the only one here who thinks that off-topic and inflammatory topics should be banned.
Any name calling whatsoever should be banned.
Polite and cordial discourse should be strictly enforced.
As you can see, I'm not afraid to engage it, but the reason that I came here was to put up songs, not argue about Trump. There are millions of sites dedicated to doing that.

To me this place is a bit like Chicago...Trump offers to come into crime ridden dysfunctional cities and tamp criminals down, and the local guys call Trump Hitler. They argue vehemently to defend and prolong their own malaise.
