I think your instincts are wrong. From what I heard the frozen Russian assets are way higher than what the US invested. It should be pretty easy to find out how much America invested. Those packages were supported by Republicans. I hope you are aware of the fact that Europe invested even more than the US in Ukraine’s fight against Russia. Trump hates to mention that. I’ve been watching German television tonight. It looks like Europe is rallying around Zelensky tonight. It looks like Europe could take over where America left off and support Ukraine’s fight against the aggressor Putin. We’ll have to wait and see but if that happens then the US is out. Marty, this is exactly what you wanted. America will not have to send troops to Europe. The minerals deal is off the table. We’ll have to wait and see how much of the frozen assets America gets in the end. Trump wasn’t able to end the war in Ukraine on day one. America can now focus on making America great again.

Honestly, Trump’s deal wasn’t acceptable. Ukraine was supposed to pay 500 billion dollars and get no guarantees in return. Putin would have taken over all of Ukraine and Ukraine would have had to pay America. If Zelensky doesn’t accept the deal, the war will continue and Europe will increase their support. America is out. Marty, this is just what you wanted.
