Trump doesnt call me and tell me what he has in mind, but here is a reasonable hunch...

End Pax Americana. Get Europe, Canada, Ukraine, Israel and everyone else to quit defaulting heavily to the US war dept.
They all beef up their own defenses.
Revise NATO to become more than an entity that blows a whistle and summons the US armed forces.
Once done, get a geopolitical/weapons system in place that contains the Rooskies...where everyone puts skin in the game.

Then there are two major concerns
#1 the geo-political competition between the West and a massive and growing Chinese army and military force.
#2 A cornered Putin or Israel and their nuclear weapons.

When Sting wrote this, things were much scarier than they are now. Much..."I hope the Russians love their children too."


#3 Wild cards in the deck, Nuclear Pakistan and India.
