I am new to this process but I figured I'd try to go about getting a string endorsement. I am with a band that is rapidly gaining momentum, has some Record Label interest and also recently won "Best Band," "Best Vocalist," and I won "Best Bassist" with the Maximum Distorzion Awards through MTV3. I was wanting to connect with someone who has had some success with putting together a proper endorsement proposal, not to just copy what they wrote word for word but to, more-or-less, get the basic "design" down, (as if I were putting together a Résumé.)

What you need is a Wham Bam Advertizing Whiz. However, you could take a nice picture of your band, a box of the strings you use and put it together in a computer program. If you aren't profecient in computers yet you probably can find someone locally that can help you. It shouldn't be too hard.

Kevin, I've never endorsed a product, but have received several free products at NAMM shows and most folks I know with endorsements have secured them at shows like NAMM, Folk Alliance or IBGMA. If you can't get to an industry convention, I would simpy write an email to a company detailing your successes, expressing your preference to their products and requesting that you become an official endorser.
You've got to know your limitations. I don't know what your limitations are. I found out what mine were when I was twelve. I found out that there weren't too many limitations, if I did it my way. -Johnny Cash It's only music. -niteshift Mike Dunbar Music

"If someone is truly a jerk, or truly is not deserving of any positive reply from you, polite indifference is the best response you can give. Do not insult. Do not slam. Do not follow the urge to be nasty. Simply be politely indifferent." –Brian Austin Whitney
