Time for a success story. I have been "offering" songs for placement for a year or two. Within the last few weeks, I placed a song in a small time Canadian radio show, another in an independent movie called Dingo and Ringo (thanks to Al Alvarez and JPF for the contact), and now a song in a FOX TV show, The Good Guys.
How sweet it is!

Thanks again for the encouragement. The show is episode 111 and I think it will be broadcast on October 8. The song is the instrumental version of Wish I'd Never which will be used as background music for 1 minute 38 seconds. FYI, my song was in The Good Guys last Friday night on FOX. It is very quiet in the background at about 45 minutes into the show where the detectives are talking to the drug dealers at their place - shortly before the detectives jump in the pool. Not very prominent but ka-ching, ka-ching.

Mike and Brian, The songs were all my recordings of instrumentals for background music. The Canadian radio show was a custom 1 minute piece called Colin's Anthem. I don't know the name of the show. The second is a surf instrumental I had recorded a few years ago that was used in the independent film, Dingo and Ringo. It premiered in Orlando and should be shown in Tampa soon. I am supposed to get a DVD copy at some point. Stocking Island The one in The Good Guys is in an episode called Little Things. You can Google for the show and watch the episode on line. The song is in the background of a conversation between the hero cops and Mexican drug dealers about 3/4 of the way through - shortly before they jump out a window. What they used is the instrumental portion of this song from the new CD by the Blue Island Beer Club - Wish I'd Never
