We were just asked to sing the National Anthem for the Olympic Swim Trials!! I am so excited!!!!! Still solidifying the dates, but wanted to share with ya the good news!!! Cher

Thanks Tom! They are holding the Olympic Swim Trials in Omaha, Nebraska in July - we'll be singing on July 5th. The Olympic swim trials will air on NBC that day, but I don't know if they'll air the National or not - cross your fingers! Fortunately it is my brother singing with me not my hubby - hubby is a great artist..just not much of a singer!!! LOL!!

Congratulations! I'm looking forward to hearing you sing. My son swims for Auburn and we'll be there all but the very last night. Maybe you can suggest some songwriter or music hangouts to eat at while we're there.
Hope you get one of the weekend NBC slots and July 4th would be awesome if you could chose!. With only one hour the national anthem sometimes gets cut out of swimming tv coverage but surely not on July 4th!

LOL!! Lynn and John!! John, I just posted about the College World Series - I was thinking of you three at the game and your song "Opening Day" I'm crossin' my fingers something will happen for you for next year - it really does capture the feel of an Opening Day!!! How great! Bart!!!! You will be there????? YAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY!!!! How exciting to watch your son!!We're singing on July 5th, 7 pm - we were told that the National Anthem won't go to broadcast on NBC  Bummer... But we will videotape it, and I'll post it on You Tube. We didn't get to video this year's College World Series Performance, but we will definitely get the Olympic performance.What is your son's name? I'll keep an eye out for him. There are some really cool places in Omaha - PM me and let me know where you are staying - I'll give you some suggestions!! My guess is you will be doing whatever your son wants to do though LOL!!!!
