I'm excited about this for a couple of reasons! One is that this article (which ran in the Redding, California _Redding Record Searchlight_ May 25, 2006 D. A. T. E. section) talks about something near to my heart (read the article and see what it is, haha! or just read to the end of this post), and another is... she QUOTED me!!!! My band, Blue Merlot, is mentioned as well.(!!!) The other reason I'm smiling - it's an excellent article on guitar manufacturers beginning to recognize women and girls as a real market - even beyond groudbreaking Daisy Rock. Yeahhh! Very cool, Brenda! I've been noticing, simply by looking at the ads in Guitar Player, that guitars for girls are picking up steam. A few years ago it was Daisy Rock. Now you flip through the mag, and you find Gibson, Fender, and all kinds of other companies.
