Hello out there Canadians,
Just a quick note to say thanx to Perry for letting me know about the board.
I have passed by it a number of times, but of course, have tunnel vision and go straight to the lyrics boards.
I am a songwriter of 15 or so years. However, have not had the courage to do anything with it, other than a few very expensive and not radio worthy demos.
I have finally decided now is the time and am so pleased to be a part of JPF, as it lets you know that there are others with great material out there trying to do the same...Strength in numbers right? :+)
I would love to be in contact with all others involved with songwriting.
I would also put heart and soul into planning or organizing a western canada songwriters workshop....and would love to be a part of JPF's on road shows.

about jpf the people are great.round up
some local players and writers and get them on the boards.I know for a fact
theres a great number of them around your
neck of the woods.
see ya on the boards.( maby post some
info about whats going where you live
or close by)so we can some how support

howdy out here in burlington ont near hamilton oakville .. i have a small homestudio set up for my writing and singing. it is so affordable now i have a roland 840ex its a great sounding recorder although at times i get caught up into the technical stuff for the most part i keep it simple and its real nice. i have better demos then done with other people because i know what i want to sound like. perhaps if i figure out the mp3 world ill post some of my material for critical listens. cheers.
