Richmond Symphony Orchestra Performance Art Theatre www.RichmondSymphony.orgThe annual Starr-Gennett Foundation's Walk of Fame music festival is just a few weeks away! This free to attend festival aims to celebrate the historic jazz roots that recorded here in Richmond with Gennett Records. Join us on September 12th 2026 from 3pm-8pm down in the gorge at the Starr Gennett building here in Richmond, Indiana. The event will feature food trucks, and music all day! Starting with Richmond Community Schools Drumline and Steel Drum Band. Legendary local musician, Joe Augustine of Achilles Tenderloin will follow. This concert is the final stop for the Richmond Symphony Orchestra on their annual Summer Series of free concerts. The RSO Brass will perform a medley of jazz hits. The Walk of Fame headliner is the Sock Joplin Trio from Indianapolis bringing to you a celebration of jazz honoring a variety of artists that recorded at Gennett Records. The Sock Joplin Trio traveled to Richmond last summer to perform with the RSO at their Summer Series concert in the gorge. This was the most attended RSO Summer Series concert in its history. We can't wait for this incredible day of live music, and look forward to seeing you all there! https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=1732058428650341&set=a.581360903720105

"If you are stuck in your musical composing, be unreasonable. Change your environment. If you are stuck in your lyrical efforts, instead of forcing the same old words out, force yourself to do unreasonable things." -Brian Austin Whitney
