Don't care about stats , Men and testosterone rule the world . Been like that since time began. Estrogen can not compete with it . mostly cuz of common sense . Like humans can not compete against robots .
"Most world leaders have historically been men, and men still hold the majority of top political leadership positions worldwide. I don't care how many women there are , that was not the point. on forums its 97% men or close .

"Men and testosterone rule the world" - Ben

Wishful thinking? laugh The days when man did the hunting while the woman stayed home and cooked have ended. Women are now doctors, lawyers, politicians, etc… Over two dozen countries have women leaders, including Japan, Ukraine, India, and Australia. There are 129 women in the US House and 29 women in the Senate. All making decisions that affect your life. Every year the power of women expands. Macho men are outdated and almost extinct like the dinosaur.

John "laugh

I see her on Facebook. She tried to participate but with JAPOV and others constantly attacking her, she finally got tired of it. It is the same story for most. I heard from several long time members yesterday they just are sick of the attacks and nonsense. Why people can't just post their stuff and be decent to each other is beyond me. And for those complaining that is is dead, you all know who the culprits are and have been. If they came back, the same stuff would happen. And because the few daily regulars that were not initially a problem decided to dig in deep with those who were, then it would have required banning nearly everyone. I repeatedly have hoped that people would be adults and block those they don't like. I have not updated the site because I would like to promote it once it is updated, but I know that the new folks will get run off once again.

FYI, I asked Google is the traffic here is legit and it claims it is. I have no idea why so many people are being driven to the site but alas, if I can get it updated finally, maybe some of them will come in. I know that people are sick of social media. I just hope the regulars here will let some new folks hang around so we can start growing again. It was not able to tell me where the traffic was from and our inside tracking function is also broke. I am trying to get details from my host site but with the board's security thing (where you have to prove you're human) won't return results to let people in, I am worried that it is google that is blocking us, not the board itself.

You got four people on this site and I'm still trying to figure out why it's even open.
Muse gets thousands of people. AI songs, human songs, people arguing about songs, people praising songs, people fighting over songs. Google traffic to what? A website with four people and one tumbleweed rolling through the forum.
I've got no problem with Kay-Lynn. Her site is all AI songs, and I'm over there as the only human. I felt like Sitting Bull before they killed him.
Tempers flare on Comedy Central and Robot Songs, so I left. I still think it's funny.
The joke was: "You're a Christian, but you use Suno. What happened to 'Thou shalt not steal?'"
People acted like I'd insulted their grandmother.
It's a joke.
And nobody likes the Suno cover joke either. But if it's your lyrics, your melody, and you added twenty seconds of your own tune before Suno finished the other three minutes... is it really a cover? A cover is doing somebody else's song. Calling it a "cover" feels like calling instant mashed potatoes home cooking.
Again, it's just a joke.
Note to all humans: Do not say "robot songs." Apparently that's crossing the line.
Meanwhile, the rest of your lives are dramatic cartoons, and this is what everybody's upset about.
It reminds me of my favorite fisherman joke:
I asked a fisherman, "How you doing?"
He said, "Great. Just swapping lies with this tourist."
I said, "Who's winning?"
He looked at me and said, "The tourist."
That's kind of the internet in a nutshell. Everybody's telling stories, everybody thinks they're right, and the guy getting offended by the robot song joke is somehow losing an argument nobody was even trying to win.

Muse does nor have thousands, the vast majority of songs posted are ignored.

Kuya over there, has gone so far as to say, that one must be a member a long time, befire they get answered.

Which is bullshitt on so many levels.

If a song is good, its good. Its not filtered through...ahh well this person is new, so we cant tell them this is good.

Moronic.

They have very little participation there, if you happen to find one kindred spirit there to trade pleasantries with, thats the extent of it.

Unless you are a moderator. There's more moderator there than, members... none of them can write, but all act like the authority on all subjects.

And mostly liberals who form an alliance and don't accept anybody from a different persuasion.

Yes, you are trouble if you're a republican.

How bour we stick to songwriting?

But instead of complaining about Ai songs, understand that one major reason for forums decline was that not everybody had access to demos.

There were 20 lyricist for every one musician, and demoing songs is a tedious, time consuming job, that most musicians did their own stuff only because of that

With Ai, demos are accessible to everybody. So you could imagine that you're going to see more and more of it.

Im frankly surprised, that all of the hundreds of lyricists that once came here, are not back here posting songs.

Maybe the time off from it, made them focus on other things

Bur make no bones, MUSE is a shitt site, its all moderators scanning for trouble, or inventing trouble, cause they have nothing better to do.

Dom...you sound like the Fox and the Grapes....the Muse is still quite active and you *)()) off Kuya to the extent he banned you.

Kay Lynn started Starfish to get away from the BS here....and she posts at The Muse.

Brian, I am grateful to you for all the years here. The JPF family helped me grow as a songwriter and I am proud of what I have been able to accomplish.

I apologize to you because I was certainly in the thick of the political discussions and they were definitely polarizing.
I thought after the first election that JPF might have had some kind of ouitside interfernce stirring up trouble as one main participant disappeared afterwards.
But I take full reponsibility for my actions as it was me responding and initiating.

Ahhh so lurker John decides to show up while reading here all the while, the very reason this site is struggling

Really Muse is sooo good?

I see an average of 40 views, with 3 or 4 replies per song, and thats good? And thats thousands of people?

Ignorant comments. I did not speak on starfish site, so put that away.

Here's your robust partipation at Muse.

And really, half the traffic any song on Muse gets, is the same person responding in his or her own thread.

If a song musters a robust 7 replies, you can bet three of those is the OP saying, "thanks Bill"

Just stop talking John, stay incognito,

WEll one last joke . Revamp this site and colors to attract writers that aren't 150 years old and melodies that would put a dinosaur to sleep .
Brian pops on here every 6 months , Hey man whats going on , Can't understand the drama here .

Dom when there is nothing to respond to, why do so?

This conversation was about where Kay Lynn was and I told you where and why.

I also called you out for your swipe at Kuya & The Muse. He simply saw you as a troublemaker....regardless of how justified you may feel or how badly you want to blame someone else.

So bring out whatever ammunition you want...

I will remember trying to bring you in to a fun project to get us all involved and you foregoing the opportunity.

If writing ever becomes work I think I'm going to have to stop
