This month marked 35 years of marriage to the most amazing woman I know. Music has always helped me say the things that matter most, so to celebrate this milestone, I wrote a special song for her: “She’s Just Who She Is To Me”. And here’s the real surprise: thanks to modern technology, that’s actually an AI version of my real voice singing every word. She liked it a lot! She’s Just Who She Is to Mehttps://soundclick.com/song/15260817[Verse] She sleeps with the windows open I’d rather the AC run I’m always up before she is Waiting for my morning sun [Verse] She fills the house with people Grandkids, friends, family And somehow keeps on giving Like love comes naturally [Pre-chorus] I used to think we’re different Like night and day could never be Now I can’t imagine living Without her next to me [Chorus] She can wear me down to nothing Then lift me back up again Turn a quiet room to thunder Like she’s always done back then She’s every side of beautiful Right there in front of me And after all this living Whoa-oh, she’s just who she is to me [Verse] She always knows what I’m thinking Before words leave my mouth Sometimes it feels she reads my mind And that still freaks me out [Pre-chorus] She keeps my whole world moving Without even trying to And every day beside her Still feels a little new [Chorus] She can wear me down to nothing Then lift me back up again Turn a quiet room to thunder Like she’s always done back then She’s every side of beautiful Right there in front of me And after all this living Whoa-oh, she’s just who she is to me [Bridge] We still go line dancing Friday nights Still laugh the whole way home Still learning how to steer that boat Like two with nowhere to go And after all these years together There’s one thing I still see Nobody makes this life feel better Than the woman next to me [Final chorus] She can wear me down to nothing Then lift me back up again Turn a quiet room to thunder Like she’s always done back then She’s every side of beautiful Right there in front of me And after all this living Whoa-oh, she’s just who she is to me [Outro] Nobody makes this life feel better Than the woman next to me Whoa-oh, she’s just who she is to me

I might have used " the woman next ro me" as my title/hook, its more immediate than just who she is to me. Reminds a bit of billy joel always a woman to me. Strong melody snd production. You say that's your vocals, curious, your older songs were very pitchy. I assume Ai corrects pitch? Sounds good enough to work. Strange how we dont need anything any more, we can sing even if we're not singers .I guess live is the difference I think you cant miss your target with this. Good work!

Thanks, Dom, I appreciate the feedback.
Funny enough, my older songs were actually heavily tuned with Melodyne, so the pitch was usually pretty accurate. What you may have been hearing was that processed or "corrected" sound that can make vocals feel a bit unnatural at times. The AI voice is different. Besides the pitch being spot on, it also has a much more natural tone, phrasing, and consistency than I could ever achieve myself.
Honestly, I wish I could sing like my AI voice! 😄
Billy Joel... that's a good comparison, lol.
