"As a native of South-Central L.A., hip-hop has been running through T-Love's veins for as long as she can remember. Over the years T-Love has been one-half of rap duo Urban Prop, a regular contributor to Vibe, Source, Rap Pages, Slap, RIP, Hits, Hip-Hop Connection, and Rap Sheet, worked as hip-hop editor at Urb magazine, co-authored It's Not About a Salary (the definitive book on L.A.'s hip-hop scene), managed Cut Chemist and even owns Pickininny Recordings (her own hip-hop label which released Jurassic 5's self-titled EP and which will be releasing more music in the coming year). With the long awaited release of her debut album The Long Way Back, T-Love's craft, energy and artistic vision is set to re-define the future of not only hip-hop, but of pop music as well.
