I remember writing this. At a time when i was trying to make anything work. This title came to mind , all the alliteration, but I said how the hell can u write this. And in 15 minutes I had it done. My showcasing this stuff is over, experiment over, For various reasons. But u can add this to my toolbox
But if I had to pick one that surprises me it's this one. I wrote the lyrics probably 2o years ago. I remember getting only a handful of replies..which means nothing other then you tell one person they are good, and hope they say the same about you
I remember one user saying good lyric, but there's no subway in Baltimore... First I was like shiiit, I like to be geographically correct but in reality geography does not need to be factual in a song, only the story needs take you there
I just googled today and Baltimore has several subways, so I'm vindicated.
But I never thought I'd use this song. I tried many versions. It should be a male singer, but I couldn't ask for a more authentic take from this, from the female voice
I was stunned how she sang it like I intended, mostly, and it moves me. I don't know why, I imagined the whole thing
Dont know if it's me or biased ness, but this blew ne away
