Are you ready for our second artist spotlight?! I first heard of Teagan Faran, by stumbling upon the very first episode of Today's Tango with Heyni, which featured Teagan. (Link in bio, if you're curious, but check out the rest of this post first!)
In retrospect, I don't know how much longer it would have taken for me to strike up a friendship with Heyni, if it wasn't for Teagan, but that is a story for another time! Hearing Heyni and Teagan play together virtually in this episode, left me wishing I could hear them both live and it hasn't left my mind for nearly 2 years and so I am over joyed to have Teagan joining us this September in Cleveland and to have my own chance to hear her play live!
Here is a little more about Teagan:
A native of Buffalo, NY, Teagan Faran is a multidisciplinary musician focused on enacting social change through the arts. Faran has collaborated with the International Contemporary Ensemble, Alarm Will Sound, Palaver Strings, and the Cabrillo Festival Orchestra.
