strange heading i know but please bear with me here all...
as you will gather from me in time, allthough i have been recieving the JPF newsletter for probably 10 or more years now (i really cannot remember how long its been that long) i have never been a forum user till now...
along with posting ALL my audio online, i have also launched my looplibrary project as linked to in my signature...
getting straight to the point, i want to know if there are any members here who are professional drummers here who sell sample cd's or their works...
im not after loops as such as i make them by myself, and have become quite an expert in my own genere, allthough i do appreciate digital drums aint everyones cuppa so to speak...
im after a collection of individual hits, with many variations of each individual percussive hit...
and as i am a bit of an annarak, i need atleast a bare minimum of 60 of each type of percussive hit, soft, hard, muffled, sharp, long, short, etc etc...
if anyone can reccomend any sample cd's with this kind of variety, a url link here would be great...
i will eventually be posting something on my very own forum stating that if there are any live drummers that want to grant me rights to use submitted material they own, in return i will make loops with these samples, and they get the full rights to use them, aswell as allowing me to try and sell them. i thought i would put the feelers out first so to speak...
if this is all a bit too muddy and scary for them, then its a straight sample cd sale depending upon quality of-course...
again, its a bit digital and out of the norm but hey thats what musics good at nowadays so give it some thought...
till next time all...

Hello uh Loop, Not sure if there are any Drum Samples or such available but a Google Search might be in order.
Second you might see what is available locally even live bands and such. Good luck on your search! Buddy Rich was a premier drummer not sure if he is still living but that may be an avenue to search.

I have looked at the Adobe Audition line recently as part of my media studies class. Doing sample commercials. I have used drum sounds and fills amongst other sounds, and have integrated and combined with it. Although I have hesitated with using straight drum tracks and samples. I like to keep it mine, even though I am not rythmn savvy. But there is software where the tracks were done by real players instead of synthetically.
