People who voted for a smoking ban who didn't frequent bars to begin with. But they were anti smokers. So they voted against smoking.
That's what happens when a majority controls the minority. It's called democracy I think. I don't really like that word. It usually allows mob rule. Which is what happened here.
The vote should have been held in the bars by the people who frequented the bars. But that would result in mob rule as well because most people who frequent bars are probably smokers.
Rule of law should have been the deciding factor. Personal freedom based on law.
