LOL Well, Mudgie...

I ain't nevah forgotten any of my bad love affairs neither! There's always a lesson to be learned from 'em ya know!! You think by now I'd have run through 'bout all the lessons one could possibly learn...but noooo!! I still hafta keep learnin' new ones...or mebbe I am just so old I am havin' ta relearn ones I was s'posed ta learn a long time ago but fergot!!

Yer chorus is purty durn good even if I do HAFTA admit it. Love that 'celestial guitars' bit. Hmmmm. I am THAT good, huh? LOL Well, in that case...I wasn't makin' ANY promises whatsoever. I just meant I'd make some kinda determination...not havin' anything whatsoever ta do with not comin' back to this thread 'er nothin'. LOL

The night was inky black like velvet
Without the light of distant stars
The silence it was deafening
Save for the hum of distant cars
In the safety of her king sized bed
She slept in peaceful dreams that night
As the night breeze poured over her
She lay unaware of watchful eyes

Ok...ya got me started. That might be a first verse. Gotta figure out where ta go with it without giving away that it's a cat. Prolly hafta write the bridge next and then go back and do the second verse so I know where I'm headin'...or not. grin These things usually take on a life of their own ya know.

Might hafta do a song next about erasin' some guy outta my life like a bad love affair though. That's got me thinkin' too!! I got enough mem'ries of THAT kinda thing to be able to do that one from mem'ry!! LOL Mebbe I need more feist to write THAT one though. I may be up ta finishin' a cat song. Hafta call up my feist reserves for the man song though.

If'n I was less feisty, I'd prolly thank yew fer jumpstartin' my muse today...but since I'm not..I prolly won't. ROFL!!

Hugs,
Bobbie
